SEKSYEN SAYURAN

 

This section houses vegetables, herbs and aromas of 17.59 hectares. Area components are as follows:

a. Vegetable training area - 4.39 hectares
b. Shared area - 10.2 hectares
c. Herbs and ulceration areas - 2.0 hectares
d. Aromatic plant area - 0.8 hectare

 

There are 5 sub units located in the Vegetable Section
• Organic vegetables
• MyGap (inorganic vegetables)
• Compost
• Aromatic garden
• Herb garden

 

Activities carried out in the vegetable section
• Organic vegetable cultivation (mustard, kale, salad, spinach etc.)
• Inorganic vegetable cultivation (chillies, petola, puffs, pies etc.)
• Make compost
• The planting of fruity trees
• Planting herbs
• Activity with students

 

Sales revenue from the vegetable section

• downstream products (herbs)

 

Fresh vegetable sales and downstream products can be found at Putra Mart TPU as well as in programs run by TPU such as "Day With Customer" conducted every month in Duson Contoh.

While compost sales, fragrances and herbs are available in the section of vegetables and at the time of the program.
