UPM Serdang 22 Julai 2019.  GENIUS Center @ Pintar Negara Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) has successfully organized a camping program here in Bukit Ekspo, University Agriculture Park (UAP) for the school uniform bodies on the 19^th to 21^st of July 2019. This program was jointly-organized by Pusat GENIUS @ Pintar Negara, University Agriculture Park (UAP), UPM, Persatuan Maufakat Kolej Permata Pintar UKM and KOR Suksis UPM.

Among the objectives of these program is to provide motivation, maximize the self-esteem of the participants, increase the organizational skills and leadership and communication believes in the students. This participants of this program were 470 secondary school students including students’ escorts. The theme of the program was “Strength in Synergy Catalyzing Changes” enable the students to experience camping in tents that were set-up by themselves.

The duration of the program was 3 days and 2 nights and were mostly conducted with the assistance of personnel from Royal Malaysian Police, Fire and Rescue Department, Civil Defence and Malaysian Red Cross Association.

Throughout the program, the participants were exposed to various co-corricular activities such as obstacle courses, nature walks, team building, group exercises and lectures. All of these activities were designed to create a sense of patriotism in creating nation development and self esteem of the participants.
