Serdang, Wednesday 7 October 2020 - University Agriculture Park has sent three (3) staff from Seedling Production and Hatchery Division to pay a working visit to the 12th Brigade Headquarters, Royal Malaysian Armed Forces at Wardieburn Camp, Kuala Lumpur.

This working visit was at the invitation of the Commander of the 12th Brigade, YBhg. Brig. Jen. Datuk Marzuki bin Hj. Mokhtar for UPM, especially TPU, to provide advice on the cultivation and management of fruit crops in a mini orchard plot at Wardieburn Camp, Kuala Lumpur.

During this working visit, TPU staff provides and recommends officers and members of other military ranks on method for to cultivatation, fertilization and diseases and pests control of fruit crops at Wardieburn Camp.

Hopefully this working visit is able to established closer cooperation between UPM, especially TPU and the Royal Malaysian Armed Forces in the future.
